Suva East Rotarians were well-represented at the Rotary Club of Suva Penninsula Sunset’s annual quiz night held at the Forum Secretariat Fale last Saturday, November 9th. All proceeds from the event will go toward the RCSPS’s project to repaint and renovate St. Giles Psychiatric Hospital in Suva.

In years past, the RCSPS has organized a Halloween Quiz and costume party, but this year this quiz night followed a new theme: SPACE- the final frontier. A number of rounds challenged participants on their aeronautical and astronomical knowledge, including a ‘name-that-tune’ round, with selections from E.T., Close Encounters, Mork & Mindy, Star Wars and Star Trek.

The Suva East table held their own- winning 4th overall- and last-year’s ‘Best Dressed Couple’ RCSE’s own Molly Powers-Tora and her husband Jim defended and retained their title with a creative twist on the well-known adage: ‘Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.’
