On Monday this week, the Rotary Club of Suva East presented a cake to one of the club’s past presidents and long-serving members, Mr Aslam Khan. Although a proper farewell party will be organised for Aslam just before he leaves our shores for Geneva to join his wife, he will not be able to join us for many meetings or events as he prepares to move overseas. The cake was presented as a small gift to show the club’s appreciation for his service and friendship which the members will definitely miss.
