Representatives of Suva Rotary Clubs- Suva, Suva East, Suva North, and Suva Peninsula Sunset- composed of volunteer business and community leaders, met today to report on past progress and to discuss ongoing coordination and mobilisation of disaster relief to all corners of Fiji.

Suva Rotary Disaster Coordination Meeting at Niranjans Motors in Raiwai.
Two convoys of Suva Rotarians have distributed more than 150 Emergency Response Kits (ERKs), food packs, and clothing to communities all over Tailevu on Wednesday, February 24th and Sunday, February 28th. We have also mobilised delivery of more than 100 ERKs to Lomaiviti and Vanua Balavu.
Rotary Clubs in Lautoka and Nadi have distributed similar assistance throughout the Western Division, and clubs in Labasa, Savusavu, and Taveuni have coordinated response in the Northern Division.
We continue to coordinate with DISMAC to ensure appropriate distribution of the ERKs to the most needy communities in Fiji. All 600 ERKs pre-staged in the country have been distributed and another order is currently en route from New Zealand.
