Please join us in welcoming Erica Lee to the Rotary Club of Suva East. Erica attended the Rota Pacific/RYLA programme in New Zealand in 2009 through the sponsorship of the Rotary Club of Suva East. She was President of the Rotaract Club of Suva from 2012 – 2013 and has held every Board position in the club except Secretary Erica currently holds an Advisory Board position. Erica is a strategic communications specialist employed by the United Nations Capital Development Fund Pacific Programme – Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme. She holds a Diploma in Pacific Journalism Studies and won two Investigative reporting awards from the University of the South Pacific.
Rota Pacific is a two week educational study tour to Auckland, New Zealand in June and July of each year. It encourages young people of the Pacific Islands to develop leadership qualities and accept the responsibilities of good citizenship. Understanding develops between South Pacific countries after these two weeks of meeting, talking, and living together in a spirit of friendship.
Rotary Club of Suva-East holds its regular lunch meetings in the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at the Fiji Club, 1 Selbourne Street, Suva. We host a social hour at 6:30 PM on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at the Holiday Inn Suva. RSVPs to rotarysuvaeastfiji@gmail.com are appreciated.
