Please join us at 1PM on Wednesday the 24th at the Fiji Club for a roundtable discussion of health issues in the Pacific.
Wednesday’s Guest speaker is Health Economist Dayo Obure.
Rotary joins leaders from all continents, cultures and occupations to exchange ideas and take action for communities around the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 33,000 Rotary clubs located in over 200 countries, making it one of the most important non-governmental, non-profit, non-religious, non-political organizations on the planet.
On Wednesday you will have the opportunity to meet and talk to individual Rotarians and experience the fellowship of the Rotary Club of Suva East. You will hear about our club, about “Service above Self” and hopefully discover a meaningful way for you to get involved.

2018-2019 Theme: BE THE INSPIRATION
Rotary International President Elect Barry Rassin, a member of the Rotary Club of East Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas, recently unveiled the 2018-19 presidential theme, Be the Inspiration, to incoming district governors saying “I want you to inspire in your clubs, your Rotarians, that desire for something greater. The drive to do more, to be more, to create something that will live beyond each of us.”
“Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.” This describes the Rotary that leaders must help build, he said.
