|Rotary’s vision is that together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
7 PM Tuesday the 17th at Paradiso on Albert Park
• Fiji’s 2018 Rotary Youth Leadership Attendees Anshu Sharma, Suzie Lata, Ashmita Kant
• Induction of New Member Kitione Waqavonovono
Representing the Rotary Club of Suva East, Suzie Lata is currently the team leader for finance at City Security and is completing an MBA from USP. She can’t wait to apply her Rotary Youth Leadership skills in a position in the Banking and Finance Industry upon graduation in 2020. She and her husband Sandeep are raising an energetic four year old son here in Suva.
Selected by the Rotary Club of Suva North, Delegate Anshu Sharma is a Strategic Planning Analyst at Vodafone. She is working on her CPA with further studies in Big Data planned. She’s excited about her upcoming engagement this December.
On behalf of the Rotary Club of Suva Peninsula Sunset, Ashmita Kant attended Rotary Youth Leadership in New Zealand. Ashmita is working as an HR Business Analyst at the Fiji Ports Corporation Limited with plans to begin an MBA in 2020. Ashmita recently started her own dance class called “Time Out,” that beats back NCDs with fun, affordable, and accessible routines.
Tuesday night is also the formal induction of Kitione Waqavonovono, legal counsel at Kalabo Investment Limited, into the Rotary Club of Suva East. Kitione is a fomer State prosecutor and a Fiji Netball rep. We’re pleased and proud to welcome Kitione into our club.
Children’s Books Needed
Part of the power of Rotary is that it’s more than just one club. Fiji Rotarians support each other across the country. As part of their focus on Basic Education and Literacy, The Rotary Club of Lautoka is collecting children’s books for schools in the west and RCSE is serving as a dropoff point. Please bring your new and gently used children’s books with you to our meeting Tuesday night.
