Thoughts from the 2019 Rota Pacific Study Tour & RYLA

Enjoy Rotary Fellowship and hear about the two week educational study tour to Auckland these four Rotaract members Priya Chand, Shivneel Kirpal, Veronica Reddy, and Seforan recently completed. The first week, the Rota Pacific Study Tour, and the second week, the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, are sponsored by Rotary Clubs in District 9920. This experience is designed to develop understanding between countries of the South Pacific by allowing young people to meet, talk and live together with each other in a spirit of friendship; involve Rotarians in the 33 Auckland clubs with the 19 Island clubs of District 9920; and develop leadership qualities and awareness of the responsibilities of good citizenship in the delegates.

These four young professionals were chosen by a combined review team from the Rotary Clubs of Suva East, Suva North, Suva, and the Rotaract Club of Suva.

Prospective Member Orientation

Interested in joining Rotary? Have a friend who’s wondering what it’s all about? Are you ready to mentor? Come to our orientation! At 12:30 on the 12th of August we’ll holding a prospective member orientation. You can learn about our club, our board members, and how to get involved.

New Meeting Schedule for RCSE:

Beginning in August, the Rotary Club of Suva East will meet for lunch on the second Monday of the month and for dinner on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
